A tune that’s a story.
 by “Sounds of Kolachi.”

The wait for the 6th episode of Coke Studio 11 finished justified, all credits to Sounds of Kolachi...
Coke Studio’s house band and their music fusion pull in you not to just tune in to the melody but, in addition, appreciate the video. Masters pieces are produced (remake) in this studio.
With the newest episode of the 11th season, one of the finest debutants smashes their entry. Sounds of Kolachi, a band of ten, with the music director and lead vocalist Ahsan Bari, Gul Muhammad (sarangi) , Waqas Hussain (sitar),  Sherjeel O’Neil (lead guitar), Saif Abbas Rizwan (bass guitar), Shams Ul Arifeen (drums) Quaid Ahmed (vocals), Nimra Rafiq (vocals), Iman Shahid (vocals), Waqar Hussain (vocals) came up with their original track “IlALLAH”, they call it a journey of a lost person who knows the taught answers but can’t connect to the voice of heart. So, he walks on to discover.
The lyrics are the emotional feels of this band and they opt for music to spread their word, considering it the best way of conveying.
“The lyrics are really based on our emotional experiences and we feel music is the best way to portray emotions.”
The song “IlAllah” is actually not a song, it’s story, a reality a profound inquiry and reply at the same time. Each line of this piece has a vibe, to the individuals who can comprehend and relate it, it's significantly more. The relation with your Creator is the purest of its kind, this bond empowers one as well as give the persistence of sitting tight for right thing on correct time. But at the very same time, this bond needs satisfaction, like something that lies beyond any kind of trust, the road to this tie will have obstacles until the point when you achieve that stature. A lost soul, who knows the most delightful association of the world yet at the same time searches for the way to interface.
The whole thing is flawlessly said in only two lines,
ALLAH-HOO ALLAH-HOO JAAG YE KEHTA RAHA,
MERA JEE NA LAGA, MAI UTHA CHAAL DIYA.

MAINE SAJDAY MAI GIR KAY JO DIL KO SUN’NA,
TERA NAAM SUNA MAINE ILLALLAH.
                                  .

Here comes the appropriate response, simply prostrate yourself in front of HIM and you'll hear the voice of the heart, the key of association.
The entire song can make you think, can influence you to understand things. Some specific lines (personal favorite) can even make a thought evolving impact.

JITNA MAIN DHUNDOON UTNA MAIN DOOBOON
HAD SE HUA BANWRA.
A totally soulful thing, a journey of self-exploration. The beginning of Sounds of Kolachi’s Coke Studio journey, it couldn’t have been any better.

(It’s not from a musician or expert who can review the bars & bits of this song, just from a listener who felt it a little too much)

The Tri-Nation Series, A Review!
The number one T20 side since 2016, with a winning streak of 7 games team Pakistan landed Zimbabwe with high moral and an aim to maintain all that they have as a world class T20 side. Sarfaraz XI was on their imprints to confront the host, and Australia as the Zimbabwe Tri-Nation Series kicked off.
The opening match of the series was set between Masakada XI and Green Shirts. A convincing start for Pakistan as accumulate a great looking total of 181 runs, opener Fakhar Zaman with his career-best 61 acted as the backbone while the called of future star Asif Ali and well experienced Shoaib Malik obeyed supporting parts. All went in the same tune when bowler strike with class and outclassed the host at 108 in 17.5 overs, this handed 74 runs victory to Pakistan and increment in winning chain. From the 2nd innings, Muskanada stood as the highest run scorer with his 43 runs, before he was caught by Shahdab of Usman Khan. From bowling court, Mohammad Nawaz for Pakistan and Chisoro for Zimbabwe maintained the best economy in the wake of tossing4overs, 2.75 and 7.0 respectively, both collected 2 wickets in their account.
As the series continues, the second clash was set between Aussies and Pakistan, it was expected to be a good game of cricket as both were sufficiently capable to posture one. The green camp was in endeavors of adding another W(win) to their 8W’s while Australia was under pressure as they have a losing streak of the match (from all formats) behind them, 3 tests from South Africa, 5ODI’s and a T20 from England.  Going with the ball first, Aussies made it obvious that they are here to steal the show. The batting line collapsed like a salt wall, and the team somehow managed to collect 116 on board with Shahdab’s 29 as the highest individual score. Stanlake and Tye shake the opponent's side and sent 4 and 3 players to pavilion, respectively. Such small total was not defendable by Pakistani bowlers, thus both of the streaks were over with this game. The winning cable was broken, and Australia brushed off the top T20 team. Captain Sarfaraz said it was important toss and we have to work on plenty of things “Toss is very important, if you lose too many wickets in first six overs, you can't survive in the match. Credit to Stanlake, he bowled with pace and bounce. Plenty to work on.”
Next game, that held between the host and Finch XI marked a massive world record and high scoring play. Going first on the crease, Aussies batsmen smashed at maximum. With Captains inning of 172 runs (comprised of 76 balls), the batting side posed a gigantic total of 229 runs, losing just 2 wickets. A huge score is already enough to shiver chasing confidence, and Zimbabwe as a small side was sounding to be in trouble. But somehow, Masakda’s boys played 20 overs but handed a 100 runs victory to Australia as they scored 129 runs by the end of innings. This 172 by skipper is now highest individual T20 score.
The tour was comprised on 7 matches. 2 games with each other and a final. So, the next 3 plays were going to be a repeating cycle. Zimbabwe takes on Pakistan in the 4th clash and depicted a much-improved performance. Batting first, they did a hard-hitting and posted 162 as the target. The best innings was played by Mire, 94 of 63, guided by 6 fours and 6 sixes. That was not a bowling day for Pakistan, each of the bowler faced at least 6.0 economy. The batting side started it smoothly, and the opener Fakhar Zaman with his 47 runs once again directed the side towards ease, accompanied with Hussain Talat’s 44 and supported with 38 by the skipper. With this defeat by 7 wickets, Zimbabwe was out from the race although they had a very good game day and it was certain that Australia will confront Pakistan in the finals.
The finalists were head to head before the final in game 6. Here, it was the time for Sarfaraz's gang to get the game and accelerate the confidence before the final clash, likewise, it was time for Finch & Co. to hammer the side again and boost up their selves for raising the trophy. On that day the green side was way too different than off game 2, the body language was loud, clear and confident! Going with the bat first, team Pakistan did a decent job, with Fakhar’s valuable 73 runs they put on card 194 as winning mark. The middle order here contributed with small yet helping individual scores. The under-19 star, Shaheen Shah Afridi shinned here and collected 3 valuable wickets, as the bowling side kept it under control, Aussies were restricted at 149 and a pleasing 45 runs victory landed to Pakistani side.
Zimbabwe plays last listed match with Aussies and had another day with some good game yet ended with defeat. With this, the host ended up their journey in the home Tri-Nation series but they managed to collect some moments with improved games.
For being the champions, the two teams locked horns in the final battle. It was opening blustering type of series, some fire hitting, and sensible innings were witnessed throughout the series. Same happened as Australia took the pitch first, Short with the partner opened the game in a fast manner. It was on 95 runs when bowling side gets its’s first breakthrough as Shahdab sent Aron back. After this dismissal, the bowling side strikes, and the table started turning. Fast bowler Mohammad Amir picked 3, the young gun Shadab Khan discharged 2 and this calmed the destructive start. The Kangaroos who were heading towards 200 or plus wrapped their inning at 183. As said, it was opening hitting game, Fakhar maintained the class. It was constant yet upsetting that Pakistan failed to maintain a proper opening couple, Haris Sohail didn’t get enough with the bat as a go with opener hence, it marked the debut of bench player Sahibzada Farhan. But the trend didn’t fade out, Farhan got stumped on the first ball of his career, from then the star opener carried the game in pure heroic style! With a blustering 91 runs, Fakhar saved another final for his side. Shoaib Malik’s 43 and Sarfraz’s 28 was all about how experience play on the pitch! A sight of smile, celebration, and relief was witnessed as Asif Ali guided the ball for 4 in the last over and that was added as winning runs!
The team shrugged all point that would have dragged them back and step with steadiness to secure the best spot and to make it obvious that why they are the number 1 seeded T20 side. For all the magic he spread throughout the series, Fakhar Zaman was awarded the man of the match and series.

After having a successful series Fakhar jumped to 2nd spot in ICC T20 latest batsmen ranking. With the class he is following with bat it is highly expected that the opener can achieve the landmark of scoring most runs in the calendar year. The record now is resting beside the name of Indian skipper, Virat Kohli who scored 641 in 2016, while Zaman has scored 516 runs in 2018 till date. He needs 126 runs to surpass it and crowned this honor.

A FINAL GOODBYE TO SILENT CONQUEROR

Imagine a game that is played by 11 players of each side, but affects the whole nation, with their attached sentiments and desperation of seeing best from their side, the whole country is a piece of it. On the field cricket is a bat ball game but off the field it’s a game of emotions, spirit and obsession linked with hundreds and thousands of followers which can break or make a cricketer’s career. Be it Miandad’s last ball 6 off Chetan Sharma at Sharjah or Carlos Braithwaite 4 sixes off Ben Stokes at the final of WT20 or as a matter of Shadab’s insistence on taking a DRS off Yuvi at champions trophy.
Despite all the odds, ultimately it is the representation of your country that marks a proudest snapshot of your life, and when you are up with this open door, you tend to achieve every height to make your country name sparkle, but the position is difficult to obtain and so is the duty. A cricketer’s life is long story of struggle, the journey of young boy turning an international cricketer is not so easy. So, it won’t be wrong in sating that neither becoming a sportsman is easy nor being one is. Every new page set ups and downs of a player’s vocation.
At the point when the hike is begun it gathers moments, milestones, love and respect. After you are done, at an age, the firm decision is to be made. There is an ending point of everything in this world, so is of one’s career. At particular stage of life, you have to realize that your time for international cricket is up. The thought is heaviest to carry and the decision, hardest of all.” I think it’s the right time. Unfortunately, I haven’t played as well as I would like, and I think it’s the right thing and the right time to walk away now to give United the Australian team in the next captain a chance to prepare for the next it’s a long-time memories as an Australian player and captain.‘’ Michael Clarke said in his retirement ceremony, emphasizing the right time of right decision.
Players from every filed of game tends to end their career in way that could be remembered for long. The great footballer Lionel Messi talking about his retirement said, “I prefer to win titles with the team ahead of individual awards or scoring more goals than anyone else. I'm more worried about being a good person than being the best football player in the world. When all this is over, what are you left with? When I retire, I hope I am remembered for being a decent guy.”
Every cricketer yearns to represent their country at international level but few of them get a chance to end their career at a happy and successful note. Be it Wasim Akram, Waqar Younus, Javed Miandad, Shoaib Akhtar, Mohammad Yousuf, Inzamam Ul Haque and many more. Sports is the only profession in the world where you hardly end up your career at your own terms. In recent a TV show, Abdul Razzaq, former test cricketer and now coach of SNGPL (Pak domestic team) and Quetta Gladiators bowling coaching was asked how much he has transformed himself from a player to a coach. Razzaq (Represented Pakistan 1996-2013) with a regret in his tone said, “It’s never ever easy to accept the fact that you aren’t going to play again.”

The iconic skipper of Pakistan cricket team ended his magnificent career this year and this write up is a little effort in regard to his honor.

The way he started and the way he ended, not everybody has the guts and temperament to do so. A little boy who belongs to Mianwali, holds degree of Masters in business administration, opted not a financing job but to represent his nation. Cricket is certainly not just a sport but entirely a life and when you have country’s log on chest it even become more to feelings, love and respect. A true country man prefers to make his performance louder than his words and he was one. Fingers were raised, questions were asked but he went on silently with his own plans and believe.
He made his debut for national team in 2001 but was soon dropped and had to wait for 6 more years before making a remarkable comeback in inaugural WT20 in 2007 South Africa. Objections were raised, and criticism was floated on his selection, but sanity had to prevail and he ended up being the highest run scorer for Pakistan. Many would blame him for the defeat against India in the final of that tournament, but do we really consider the situation when he came into bat where Pakistan were 6 down for 77 and still 80 odd runs required? It was him who took the match till last over indeed he couldn't end it well, probably Joginder Sharma got the best of him. His signature shot went wrong. Bad luck folks! He was 3rd on the chart highest run scorer with 218 runs in 7 matches, not only this his name was also present in the list of highest partnership in the tournament, stood as best 5th wicket partnership with Shoaib Malik scoring 119* (75) against Australia.
“They blocked him. He was worried without knowing God's plan for him. Crises occurred, he was picked, he came, he conquered”-Aaliya Rashid.
It took some time though, but the table turned to his side, certainly the Almighty never let down a person who is loyal in his job. With every new page of life, his success story keeps on adding fresh chapters. Yes! Captain Misbah-ul-Haque is the man with highest success rate in the history of Pakistan cricket. He set several records aside his name, shutting every mouth of bitter words. He is popularly known for,
· Record of getting the fastest 50 in Test cricket against Australia in Abu Dhabi, here Misbah set two World Test Match records. He scored the fastest ever 50 (off 21 balls) and then equaled Viv Richards' 1986 fastest Test 100 of 56 balls.

· Leading run-scorer with a mammoth 1373 runs in ODI's in the year 2013. Additionally, he has the most ODI fifties (15) to his name in the same year.

· He also has the most half-centuries without making an ODI century to his name.

· First South Asian captain to beat Proteas at their soil.

· As of 10 December 2016, Misbah is Pakistan's most successful captain with 23 wins. Furthermore, he holds the accolade of most Test centuries by a Pakistani Test captain.

· He is the first batsman to make a Test hundred after the age of 41 since Geoffrey Boycott in 1981.

· Under the leadership of Misbah-ul-Haque Pakistan marked historic position in test ranking, the TEST MACE arrived Pakistan honoring the number 1 test team.
Hassan Raza youngest Test cricketer in Cricket History, once said that back in early 2000s, Jefforry Boycott visited Pakistan A team camp at Lahore and while looking at Misbah’s batting on nets he commented that this technique won't let him survive in international cricket. 17 years later, he ended up his career as Pakistan’s Premier Batter in Test Format. That’s Misbah-Ul-Haque for us! The father of Indian Cricket, Sachin Tenduler once said,
“Success is a process. During that journey sometimes, stones are thrown at you, and you convert them into milestones.” We found our leader Misbah working on it.
The great skipper started winding up his career from 2012 when he marked end of his T20 career with a sum of 788 runs in 39 matches carrying a strike rate of 110.20 and highest individual score 87*. 48* against SL in 2011 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi is counted as his on of most amazing and match saving knocks.
In 2015 Misbah Ul Haque limited himself to only test cricket and played his last One Day International game against Australia at Adelaide. His ODI career is comprised on 162 matches in which he played 149 innings and collected 5122 runs in total with 96* as highest score and maintained a strike rate 73.75. His career includes 42 fifties.
Many brilliant innings became part of his test career, top 2 of them were, against Australia where he scored fastest test 50 and the other was historic versus England when he hit a ton on his debut as Pakistani skipper at great Lord’s, this made his name appear on Lord’s honor board. Before the Pakistan vs West Indies series 2017, the victorious captain announced this series as his last and took retirement from international arena. He blessed the team with a see off gift, among Pakistan’s eight tours to the Caribbean, this was the first time when we finally managed to win a Test series, under the leadership of Misbah-ul-Haq.
Misbah-ul-Haque is the man who deserve absolute honor for his services, in year 2017 ICC honored him with spirit of cricket award. He is a mentor and inspiration for many young boys. His calm nature, temperament and the capacity of replying with execution is one of its own kind. His fan and followers adore his personality. What he earned through out his career, will stay with him till the last breath and words will always lack when one will praise his duties and achievement. The entire nation is proud of their brave captain Misbah-ul-Haque..

                                     20 YEARS OF BOOM BOOM
It was Octuber2, 1996 a new name was mounted in the ODI team of Pakistan during the four nations “Sameer Cup 1996-97.” In the first match against Kenya he went wicktless and also didn’t get chance to bat. The second appearance was against Srilanka, the player who came to bat at number 3 as a pinch hitter smatched fastest 100 of ODI history from 37 deliveries! His innings comprise of 0610400600661166264400661411041606024100, the name SHAHID AFRIDI (born name SHAHIBZADA MOHAMMAD SHAHID KHAN AFRIDI) now emerged as youngest player to score an ODI century, 16 years and 217 days. After a spam of playing 66 ODIs Shahid Afridi made his test debut in 1998 he didn’t played a big inning from bat but was able to get 5 wickets against Australia. The second test was against India, and the rounded performance here was remarkable. Here Afridi scored his maiden test century scoring 141 runs from 191 balls and manage to get 3 wickets for 54 runs. The journey continued, scorning more runs from bat and collecting more wickets, Shahid Afridi was named as most consistence player of 2005. With regard to focus on 2007 World Cup Shahid Afridi announce temporary retirement from test cricket on April12 2006 but he came back on coach Woolmer calls and played his last test in 2010 vs. Australia. His test career include 27 matches in which he played 48 innings and scored 1716 runs with 220 4s,52 6s and 156 as highest score. He further reached to pick 48 wickets with best bowling average 5-43.
The well known title BOOM BOOM was given to him by recognized Indian commentator Ravi Shastri, after he scored second fastest 100 of ODI history of 45 balls against India. The famous name of Shahid Afridi by his natives and fan is LALA (big brother). Asia cup 2010 was the first ICC event in which Shahid Afridi led the National side in ODI, during his first three matches as ODI captain he scored two centuries against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh he finished as the tournaments highest run scorer with 384 runs from 3 matches.Shahid Afridi is the only captain who take Team Pakistan in semis of ICC world cup after 1999. The name Shahid Afridi is rope in among 22 bowlers of the ODI’s who has taken 250+ wickets and he got the average 33.68 and on number two among 22 bowlers of the world. The aggressive boy hasn’t faced 100 balls in his entire carrier, his longest innings winds up on 94 balls. BOOM BOOM also deals with most number of man of the match awards from Pakistani side in ODIs. In Pakistan's opening match of theICC world cup 2011, Afridi took 5 wickets for 16 runs against Kenya, giving him the best bowling figures by a Pakistan bowler in a World Cup .He remained the captain of national team in ODIs from 2009-14, in this duaration team played 38 matches out of which 19 ends up with victory, 18 loss and 1 with no result. The most remembered event of his captaincy was ICC world cup 2011 when Pakistan was defeated by India in the semis knock out. Shahid Afridi said good bye to another form of cricket and played his last ODI on March 20, 2015 against Australia in the ground of Adelaide. In total, he played 398 games scored 8064 runs, 124 as highest score with 730 4s and 351 6s and took 127 catches. With ball he picked 395 wickets with best bowling figure 7-12 and conceived 13632 runs all together. His extraordinary achievement includes twice runs and wickets in comparison to legendary Imran Khan in ODIs.
Shahid khan Afridi the man with record of taking most wickets by any all rounder and recently named as leading wicket taker of world t20 led the side in T20 format first time in 2009 after ICC WT20 and Younis Khan’s retirement. He remained captain from 2009-11 and later in 2014 he was again crowned as captain till current. Team Pakistan marked 15 victories and defeats out of 30 matches under his captaincy. With 210 matches yet played he is the man with most played T20 in history of cricket also Afridi is the only player in T20 cricket who made 2000+ runs and take 97 wickets. The name Shahid Afridi is not small in the history of cricket, not only in Pakistan but in the entire world the crowd chants for him whenever he steps on the pitch either with ball or bat. His rapid fire batting & his signature style after picking batsmen each is equally enjoyed by his followers. This magnificent cricket career has completed 20 years today!  Number of records keeps getting aside the name with passage of time.
One can’t forget that fastest 100 in very first inning, 100 of 45 balls against India, 2009 t20 World Cup and his duty on the pitch the most recent and breath taking last over of Ashwin (ASIA CUP 2014). It isn’t easy to neglect his services and it wouldn’t be fair even. People who even don’t know cricket knows Shahid Afridi, half of the kids of Pakistan quote his name as their favorite cricketer.
LALA is hot in news these days as struggling for a farewell match, the PCB is working over it. One who entertained us for 20 years is waiting from long just for a single match to end his career with honor. It’s about respecting our legends and with sorry we are really poor in this, we give rise and fall to players just after witnessing particular game and same trend is adopted in Afridi’s case, couple years of ghastly show and your entire career seem as dust.

Probably no one can put clear justification why he shouldn’t be granted with send off game.?

THE MACE INTO DESERVING HANDS

Analytics criticism, allegations, taunts and disrespectful comments were all over. People didn't recognize the worth then. A defeat in world cup semi's against India make just one person responsible for it. The title TUK TUK rest every where aside his name,Captain Misbah-ul-Haq was not now favorite of many. People who know cricket from heart were still aware of his capabilities.
After the spot fixing case of 2010 Pakistan test cricket was in great trouble. Predictions of Pakistan Test Cricket downfall to extent of end were common. The incident was marked as huge in history of Pakistan cricket. But all predictions went wrong when the team started working to overcome their flaws. A new journey under new guidance was on progress. Numbers of tons and double tons were registered during this efforts. Incredible victories, inning defeat,5WH and many series step by step team Pakistan conquered each. The re building of strength was not that easy but under great leadership and will to do make every thing to your way.
A victory a defeat,a ton or duck,no wicket or 5WH can't decide your faith it is ur devotion towards nation that decides and team Pakistan is living example of it. We are away from home cricket since 6years but the passion is still so alive in our nerves and no one can take it away. Year 2016 brings up to much good things to Pakistan in terms of Test Cricket. Into the lands of England after 6years! It was a big big deal and the world witness what class we showed there. By the end of test 1 two names from green team appeared on Lord's Honor board,it might sound easy but it wasn't. Dreamy debut with bat and remarkable performance with ball, Captain Misbah and Yasir Shah did this. We didn't won the series but leveling it was almost equal to victory since it was after two great failures. We are not afraid of failures because our leader is so courageous.
The devotion and concentration was not effected from harsh words. In 6 months from 6th position Pakistan Test Cricket team climbed to top. 25 match 2767 points 111 rating the best test team of world and we reached here for the first time in history. Now everyone is happy of Pakistan and Misbah-ul-haque. People are now willing to call him back in ODI’s for our better position, yes the same guy they use to call TUK TUK!
